Corecon Technologies Received Integration Certification for SAP Business One
Huntington Beach, Calif., October 25, 2006—Corecon Technologies, a leading
software developer for the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry,
is now offering its customers a new option for integrating their project management
and accounting software. CoreconLink for SAP Business One, which has just been awarded
integration certification by SAP’s Integration and Certification Center, will
allow clients to combine estimating, project management and accounting into a single,
easy-to-use, flexible system. Estimators, project managers, accountants and financial
controllers can collaborate quickly and effectively through this streamlined link.
“SAP's strict certification standards ensure that an ISV solution that has
passed certification has a tight and reliable integration with SAP Business One,”
says Ralf Mehnert-Meland, Director of Business Development at SAP. “This certification
gives resellers and customers an additional indication of the quality of the solutions
offered by the SAP Business One ISV partner.”
CoreconLink meets these standards and offers this newest service to meet the needs
of its clients in conjunction with SAP Business One. This collaboration with SAP
Business One will be the third in the CoreconLink product family, which also includes
links to QuickBooks and Microsoft Small Business Accounting. CoreconLink for SAP
Business One is ideal for small to midsize construction companies that have annual
sales of $15 to $100 million.
With this integrated system, maintaining multiple legacy systems and spreadsheets
are barriers of the past. Instead, Corecon clients can save time and streamline
operations by eliminating duplicate data entry. And because Corecon software is
web based, it can be accessed by key individuals in multiple locations, instantly.
Corecon products feature estimating, project management and job-cost-control capabilities.
These include the ability to ascertain unit prices and assemblies with drill-down
menus or to request, collect and update prices directly from subcontractors and
suppliers. The products also allow clients to immediately transfer estimate data
to job-cost budgets, contracts, subcontracts and purchase orders and to track estimated
versus actual costs, revenue, labor and equipment hours and to insure accurate billing.
Corecon clients can now integrate all of these features with the accounting power
of SAP Business One, providing professionals in the AEC industry an invaluable tool.
Corecon Technologies is a known leader in the field of construction management software
and has been named one of “Constructech’s Hottest Companies” in
2006 by Constructech Magazine after being named one of the “Companies to Watch”
in past years. It was founded more than a decade ago by experienced construction
professionals who understand the architecture, engineering and construction industry
and seek to design software that provides cost-effective, user-friendly tools for
small to mid-sized firms.
