Equipment Management and Time Tracking Software Features
For contractors who have intensive equipment tracking needs, Corecon provides tools
to manage both owned and rented equipment. Each piece of equipment can be tagged
with a particular identification number along with manufacturer and model information.
A list of standard parts (i.e. tires, filters, brakes) can also be recorded providing
management with key information when equipment is down. Tracking various rates for
equipment is also a major benefit for both estimating and job costing. Cost rates
for run-time, idle-time, and down-time in addition to daily, weekly, or monthly
rental rates are available.
Corecon offers not only a method to document equipment but also track equipment
usage. Like Labor Timecards, the Equipment Timecard feature provides the contractor
a system for entering daily or weekly timecards. Equipment timecard entries can
be tracked for multiple projects, under multiple contracts, and under multiple job
cost codes.
Corecon provides an equipment dashboard for comparing equipment hour budgets versus
actual hours. Like for labor, productivity analysis tools are available for equipment
to project in the future any savings or cost over-runs by job cost code. It uses
three sets of data (estimated hour budgets, actual timecards, and percent complete)
to make these projections.
