Construction Software Features - Online File Management System

The Corecon 2007 Fall Release includes the new Online File Management feature which provides the ability to upload and link external files (i.e. photographs, CAD files, MS Word or Excel documents, PDFs, etc.) to any Corecon project record. The Online File Management system can be used to keep files safe, secure and not be inadvertently deleted or lost.

A Central Repository of all Project Information

One of the main benefits of Corecon is to provide information on projects anywhere anytime. The new Online File Management system will complement Corecon's current features aiding architects, engineers, and construction firms with a complete content management system for their projects. Plus, with all your project files online, managing your own backups becomes less of an issue.

Security

Files that have been uploaded to Corecon’s Online File Management system are protected by a comprehensive and granular security system. Corecon offers security measures for internal users plus when collaborating with outside team members.

Improved Collaboration

As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. So true, especially when it comes to communicating with outside project team members on issues or changes. When requesting information or submitting a potential change sharing photographs, drawings, or other documents online can not only improve communication but reduce the resolution time.
